I’m Kate Bickford and I’ve been involved with Network Marketing for 18 years.

I worked for BBC News and I absolutely loved my job and never thought I'd do anything else. I initially said 'No', but I decided to look into the industry in more detail.  I was incredibly skeptical if truth be told. I thought I was going back to the BBC with a story.  Instead I found a solution and a world I had no idea about. There are many companies with both products and services who go to market in this way because it is cost efficient and effective.  In fact, I’ve recently started an estate agency business with eXp Realty, again working from home.

Now 18 years on, I left my media career a long time ago and have much more flexibility and more time. Working from home enabled me to look after my father in law for 5 years. He had dementia and he was able to be with us until 2019, when he past away. I would never have been able to work from home with my BBC career.  I'm so grateful this found me.

I’ve recently started another business, again working from home but in a very different industry. I set up as an estate agent with eXp. Their business model blew me away and I truly believe it will change the face of this industry.

My flexibility enabled us to move down to Cornwall in April 2021. We bought a house in 2019 which was a wreck and over the following 2 years we restored it.

If you seriously want to make a change then put a plan in place and go for it. The beauty of Network Marketing is, there are many companies with services and products and what you need to do is find something you can be passionate about.

I have a passion for property and people and I’ve found something that combines the two. With my communication skills and the back up of eXp, I can help make moving less stressful, simply through great communication.

I never, ever thought I'd be able to say I have my own business, it just wasn't what people like me did and now I have 2, both working from home in the most beautiful location.

 I'm more excited now than I was 18 years ago.
