1 in 5 adults wants to start a business in 2021.  This figure rises to one third in the age group 18 - 34 and the top category for that business is health and wellbeing.

So there is a massive need for support/training and mentoring, which is why I now have to explain the virtues of the Network Marketing Industry. I believe if people truly understand what this industry offers they would never start a conventional business.  

Controversial? Maybe? 

When people find a great Network Marketing company, the point of difference is the support and training startups are given. You are never alone, there is always someone to get advice from. My company even has an Investor in People Gold Award for our support and training.

More than half of the people expecting to start a business wanted to start it as a ‘side hustle’, a term which, I frankly hate.

Network Marketing again ticks this box.  it is completely flexible and fits around other commitments, so people can learn the ropes but also start earning some money at the same time, which is the reason for starting a business. So the part-time business brings in a second income whilst people are still earning through their job. What an amazing safety net whilst you grow your business.

Excitingly only 6% of people said it was because they had been made redundant and only 8% because they had been furloughed.  This shows the spirit of entrepreneurship in the UK is incredibly strong given the year we’ve just had.  A third of people said they had always wanted to start something for themselves.

This fills me with joy.

Being able to start a business with virtually no cost is incredible, which is what happens within a Network Marketing company.

I began with a Business Owners’ box containing around 19 products and I had help to start my customer base and training about the industry and how to go about growing my business.
